Here we can see “Brother Control Center is Very Slow To Respond

Brother centre may be software that comes with Brother printers. It gives quick and straightforward access to machine’s functions like copy, print, and PC-FAX directly from your computer. It also allows you to configure the machine’s settings from your PC. Although not all Brother printers support these functions, the latest Brother printers support these functions through the centre.

Control Center is supplied on a CD with every machine, and you’ll also download it from the download section of Brother’s website.

Brother centre is Slow to reply

Many users reported that Brother centre suddenly became very slow. For example, a user reported that it took four minutes on average to scan a page. There are many possible causes for such issues.

Here are some standard solutions to the present problem.

Solution 1: Detach and Reattach USB Cable

If you’re using a USB cable, detach the cable then reattach it. Some users reported that this easy solution worked for them, and their Brother centre is now responding normally. If this doesn’t solve your problem, try the subsequent solution.

Solution 2: Check the Network

If your Brother machine is connected to a network, reconnect it to the network. If it’s wired via Ethernet, then unplug the Ethernet and put it back in, followed by a router reboot. If it’s connected via WiFi, then from your Printer’s instrument panel, re-do the wireless setup. (instructions are often found within the manual).

Solution 3: Check if a more modern version of the centre is out there for Your Machine

Visit the Brother website, navigate to the downloads section and check if a more modern version for your machine model is available. If a more modern version is out there, uninstall your current version, and download and install the newest version.

Solution 4: Update Firmware

Brother strongly recommends that you update your machines firmware. Visit the Brother website and check if more current firmware for your machine is out there. If you opt to upgrade your machine’s firmware, confirm to read all the rules before you plan to update. (instructions are often found within the manual)
